Anthony Lawman is primarily a plein aire watercolour artist. For the last two years, he has painted with the Brass Monkeys, in and around London. They are a loose group, who paint throughout the whole year, and encourage others to join them to experience the beauty, and difficulty of plein aire painting. Lawman has been painting most of his life, for the last fifteen years as Chairman of the prestigious Tadworth Art Group, in Surrey. He now teaches and demonstrates to groups in the South East, and features in the Leisure Painter magazine. He has been resident artist for the Tadworth Court Childrens Trust, and helps to foster art through them, participating in their exhibitions, and judging the childrens work. Previous exhibitions have included an extremely successful solo at the Mine Gallery in Carshalton Surrey, two exhibitions per year with the Tadworth Art Group, and featuring in Galleries in the South East
