Alfred John Billinghurst (1880-1963) - Signed Watercolour, Woodland Scene
DescriptionA delightful impressionistic watercolour depicting figures within a grand wooded landscape. The expressive line and dynamic representation of the sky are typical of Billinghurst's style. Well presented in a washline mount and simple gilt frame. Signed. On wove.
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. There are a number of foxing spots most visible to the sky area.
