Engraved by Charles Turner ARA after Henry Fradelle. A very large mezzotint - "The Earl of Leicester's Visit to Amy Robsart, at Cunmor Palace." In a richly decorated interior, Leicester sitting on seat with Amy Robsart kneeling beside him, asking him the meaning of the orders he wears, in an antechamber right a lady and gentleman talking; published state. 1826. From the collection of Christopher Lennox Boyd. There is discolouration to the page, some foxing and a closed 3cm tear to the upper edge.
