A finely painted watercolour depicting a mother and child walking along a beach, from artist A. Poisson. Auction records for Poisson date back to the 20th century. The child holds a few strands of long grass, while the mother carries a fishing net. They are both wearing traditional Dutch clogs and dress. Painted on wove laid to a thick card. Signed.Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and foxing. Also shows some mount burn. Otherwise in fine condition.
