DescriptionOriginal 19th Century Lithograph. Blind stamped: 'The Studio, London'. During the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries this journal was the leading British arts publication. Issues often contained original graphic art by such great etchers and lithographers as James McNeill Whistler, Sir Frank Brangwyn, Joseph Pennell and many others. Charles Edward Holloway was commissioned to create at least three original lithographs for The Studio. Signed in plate. On wove. Some folding to lower-left corner and foxing as pictured.
