We acquired an album of pencil drawings, some with watercolour, entitled Pencillings by the Way London, June 1860. The drawings are beautifully embellished. We show an image of the title page, which is not included with your purchase. The binding of the album was sadly deteriorated and the individual drawings, which we are selling separately, were dethatched. The drawings themselves are generally in excellent condition for their age, as they have always been protected from light, smoke and dirt by being confined within the album boards.
